Injury claims in Canyon County

Accident and injury matters across the Treasure Valley, prepared as though they will be tried.

What we handle

  • Vehicle accidents, including commercial vehicles.
  • Injuries on someone else's property.
  • Dog bites and animal injuries.
  • Wrongful death claims brought by a family.
  • Insurance disputes where a claim has been denied or underpaid.

The first things that matter

Get treatment and keep the records. A gap between the accident and the first medical visit is the single most common thing used to argue an injury was not serious, and it is usually just someone trying to tough it out.

Be careful what you sign. A recorded statement or a quick release offered in the first week is offered then for a reason. You are allowed to say you will call back once you have spoken to a lawyer.

How these matters usually resolve

Most resolve by negotiation rather than trial. That is not a reason to prepare them lightly: what a claim settles for tends to track what it would be worth if it were tried, so the preparation is what drives the number.

There are deadlines for filing, and they are not the same for every kind of claim or every kind of defendant. If some time has already passed, say so early rather than late.

Talk to Greg about your situation

If anything has a date attached to it, say so when you call. A court date or a notice period changes what gets done first.
